Your first stop: Wringin Temple.

This place is massive, the biggest temple in Trowulan. It once stood as the main gate to the Majapahit capital, so you can feel the history as soon as you arrive. Give yourself about 45 minutes to wander and soak it all in.

Next, you’re off to Tikus Temple.

Don’t let the name throw you—“tikus” means rat, named for the little rat statues scattered around the temple. People say this used to be a spot to worship Durga, the Hindu goddess of destruction. Spend another 45 minutes exploring the temple grounds.

After that, swing by Candi Bajangratu.

This temple honors Parvati, Shiva’s consort, and it’s famous for its detailed carvings and beautiful design. Spend around half an hour here, checking out the architecture.
